SPSPS joins Tacloban City’s cultural showcase

Saint Paul School of Professional Studies (SPSPS) has pitched in Tacloban City’s nightly cultural festivities last June 24 at Rizal Plaza with an array of talent performances highlighting the school’s success in the past 25 years.

The showcasing of talents was anchored on the unveiling of the different milestones the school has achieved during its 25 years of service.

“This night, you will be witnessing the different performances which will exhibit that Paulinians are not only academically excellent, but talented as well,” said Prof. Maria Charito L. Suyom, assistant vice president for Student Affairs and Academic Services, in her opening remarks.

Suyom stressed that these performances are a way of giving thanks to the Almighty God for all the accomplishments and recognitions the school has been receiving over the years.

SPSPS has been lauded by several public and private institutions for recently notching top places in the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Real Estate Broker (REB) licensure examinations.

Raquel Mendros and Ruth Cabangangan placed first and third, respectively, in the REBLE, while Allan Jabinal and Jomare Oronos both bagged the seventh spot in the CPALE.

In anticipation of the school’s silver anniversary, the night ended with a dance mob launching the official song for the said celebration. (By Raphael Y. Cotoner)
